  1. Search or Browse: Start by searching or browsing through categories such as Property, Vehicles, Jobs, Services, Electronics, and more.

  2. Post Your Ad: Click “Post Ad”, choose a category, fill out the form with relevant details, upload images, and publish.

  3. Communicate: Potential buyers or sellers can contact each other via direct message or listed contact number.

  4. Meet Safely: Arrange to meet in a public place to inspect the item or close the deal.

  5. Complete Transaction: Once both parties are satisfied, proceed with payment or exchange.

Community Guidelines:

  • Respect all users regardless of background, religion, gender, or region.

  • No harassment, offensive language, or hateful content.

  • Only post content related to the actual item or service being offered.

  • Keep all communication honest and professional.

Posting Rules:

  • Choose the most accurate category and subcategory for your item/service.

  • Provide clear, concise titles and descriptions that reflect the ad truthfully.

  • Upload real, high-quality images of your item (avoid stock or misleading photos).

  • Do not include phone numbers or URLs in ad titles or images.

  • Duplicate ads, fake ads, or misleading content will be removed.

  • Do not post items prohibited by Nigerian law or community standards (e.g., firearms, drugs, counterfeit goods).

 

User Groups & Features

At Faji Marketplace, we support three primary user groups, each with features designed to meet their unique needs:

1. Buyers Buyers are individuals who browse and purchase products or services listed on Faji.ng.

Key Features for Buyers:

  • Free access to browse listings in all categories.

  • Advanced search filters by location, category, price, and more.

  • Secure chat and contact options to communicate with sellers.

  • Access to reviews and ratings (where applicable).

  • Ability to favorite and save listings for later.

  • Option to report suspicious ads or users.

2. Sellers Sellers are individuals or small businesses listing items or services for sale.

Key Features for Sellers:

  • Free ad posting with the ability to upload multiple images.

  • Dashboard to manage active, expired, or pending listings.

  • Optional ID verification badge to build buyer trust.

  • Featured and premium listing upgrades for higher visibility.

  • Access to inquiries via secure messaging and phone.

  • Ad analytics (views, leads) for performance tracking.

3. Companies (Dedicated Page & Tools) Companies are verified business entities and larger sellers using the platform to reach a broader audience.

Key Features for Companies:

  • Dedicated company profile page with branding, contact info, and listings.

  • Bulk listing management and import tools.

  • Priority customer support.

  • Verified company badge for increased credibility.

  • Access to promotional tools and featured placements.

  • Performance insights and reporting dashboards.

  • Ability to post job vacancies, services, and inventory across multiple categories.
